Weekend in Gothenburg
Smidig.
Apparently we’re on some sort of Scandinavian tour, and this weekend we took the train to Gothenburg with my family.
We stayed in a dark little room at Pigalle, which is nice though a little too conceptual for my taste.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on friday night, pretty good food and even better drinks.
Saturday started with a yummy hotel breakfast.
It was a grey day, but with definite signs of spring here and there.
Went by Artilleriet and bought a rubber spatula.
For lunch we had a table at Champagnebaren Forssén og Öberg, which was really nice.
My brother bumped into some old family friends, so they joined us for lunch. I love random meet ups.
Spent the afternoon wandering about town without plans.
Hi it’s me.
I wore my faux fur from the 60s, a shirt from FWSS, Levis 501 and muddy Puma shoes that I got in Copenhagen last weekend.
After resting a bit at the hotel we went out for dinner at Familjen. I didn’t bring my camera but the food was really good and then my husband, my little brother and me went out together which was so much fun haha.
And then sunday came and it was L’s birthday!
We had a massive breakfast, opened some presents and checked out of the hotel.
After a trip to the botanical gardens we hopped on the train back to Oslo and continued the celebration at a restaurant with some friends. Could this weekend be any better, I think not.
